Max Homa’s caddie is Joe Greiner. Greiner has been caddying on Tour for at least ten years and, as with most of the caddies on the PGA Tour, has a very strong background in competitive Golf. Joe Greiner played at the collegiate level for the College of Canyon and also spent some time as a professional, playing on the professional Mini Tour. Another testament to Greiner’s golfing skills is the fact that he holds the par 3 course record at Vista Valencia Golf Club.
When did Joe Greiner start caddying for Max Homa?
Joe Greiner started caddying for Max Homa in or around November of 2018. This wasn’t the first time the two had partnered together though. Greiner and Homa seem to go ‘way back’ before Homa’s professional career even started. Homa first called for Greiner to caddie for him in his professional debut season, on the then Web.com Tour. Though the pairing seemed promising, Homa finished 9th after all, Greiner would go on to caddie for Kevin Chappell for a few years before Homa eventually called him back on the bag, this time for a long-term partnership.
